I have seen Life Style Lift commercials for about six years and I decided to make an appointment. I was sent to your Chicago(Schaumburg),IL office and I was so pleased to meet so many wonderful staff members. I had a great experience!
There is so many people to thank: the staff that went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed prior my face lift. The best counselor, Dana, that was so professional and charming. Dana helped me make financial arrangements and recommended Dr. Bazell. Wow I was so happy with her decision.
The day I met Dr. Bazell, I immediately knew I had the right surgeon and he was so calm and assuring. The day of my surgery he was very supportive and his technical expertise gave the wonderful results. I can't say enough on how happy I am because of his skills. He made me feel like I was twenty years younger.
I am going for my laser surgery on the 23rd of January, 2012, and I am very excited to see more positive results.

I would look in the mirror and think, "I look so old." I had droopy eye lids, bags under my eyes, a turkey neck a turkey wouldn't like, acne scars, and sun damage.
Now, I look in the mirror and see a younger me that looks better now than I did when I was younger! My eyes are more noticeable, my neck is longer, my skin is so smooth, glowing and healthy looking. My husband tells me how beautiful and young I look. When I hear that, it makes it all worth while.
Dr. Taylor and his staff are just amazing. They are caring and thoughtful people, who make you feel so secure and comfortable about everything. Your anxiety just disappears.

Two weeks prior to surgery my first step was to call and make an appointment with the consultant at the Dallas office. The consultant will let you know the cost of the procedure . The RN will visit with you and ask you about your overall health. After researching the web and getting a referral from a friend I chose Dr. Standefer to do my lifestyle lift. Upon meeting Dr. Standefer one day before my surgery ,he talked to me for about an hour on how the procedure was performed . I knew after talking to Dr. Standefer I was in good hands. Surgery was the next day. Dr. Standefer's assistant (Brian) was in the room and he made me feel very confortable, he answered questions I had about being awake during the procedure and assured me I would not feel a thing. I also had the CO2 laser treatment. I was given medication to relax and within an hour and a half I was walking into the lobby to be picked up by my husband. That night I was experienceing quite a bit of pain from the tightness in my neck . My husband helped with keeping ice packs on my face and neck all night. Pain medication did relieve some pain. Being propped up in bed is also very important. Next morning I go back to the Dr's . Office and my bandages are changed and face is cleaned and Aquafor is applied all over my face. I was given instructions on how to clean and apply moisture on my face. Two days later I was getting really sick and my face ,eyes and lips swelled. My husband called Dr. Standefer (Sunday night) and he told me I was alergic to the pain medicine and to stop taking the pain medicine , take benadryl and within 2 or 3 hrs, the swelling was going down. I started taking tylenol extra strengh to relieve the pain for the next 4 or 5 days. I thank my husband for staying home from work and helping me for the first 3 days after surgery. Lots of rest, ice packs and learning to sleep propped up was for vital for the next week. After about 5 days I started feeling better and the tightness in my neck was easing up . One week later you get stitches taken out. The nurse was very gentle when taking them out. Couple of weeks later I am feeling really good. All in all the procedure was all worth it!!!! I would do it again.

Three years ago my life was turned upside down. I had owned my own company for 35 years and almost overnight found myself in a position to have to go back to work. I was stunned, but that didn't change circumstances. When I started going back out into the work force I quickly realized that my appearance was going to make a huge difference. Whether I liked it or not and rather it was fair or not, I was not going to be a very good competitor in the sales field while looking my age...66 years old.
I decided there was a lot of future yet and this was a new season in life, so I needed to make decisions accordingly. After talking with Dr. Woods and Patty,in Phoenix, AZ., I knew immediately this was what I needed to arrange to have happen - Even though I still have a lot of energy and will do what I need to do, I needed to look more energitic. I needed to look youthful to try and rebuild a new future.
I most say I was pleasantly surprised at how painless the procedure and recovery was for me...not at all what I expected (I expected much worse). I wasn't druggeded out on pain pills (took only one and then the second day 2 tylenol...that's it) and the second day played cards with my grandkids (I won!)
Sometimes in life we have to create our own opportunities. I am so now aware of the difference this prodedure has made. I love not having a saggin and bagging chin and neck. I have some friends that call me 'Baby Face', my face and skin are so smooth and firm.
Would I do it again? You bet!!! To feel confident in appearance, complimented in my decision, and comfortable for this new season of life is a huge gift in life!

When I visited the center, I wasn't sure if this was for me. However, after viewing the video and discussing it with the surgeon, I wanted it done as quickly as possible. Less than a week later, I had the procedure. While it isn't without some pain and discomfort, it was all worth it.
